Dr Margaret Bryce
Dr Bryce established The Bennelong Medical Clinic in May 2016 after taking over from the existing Tree of Life Medical Practice.
She graduated from University of Newcastle in 1988 and trained at St George Hospital, Sydney before starting in general practice in 1991. She has worked in a variety of roles in Sydney’s Inner West in both private and corporate medicine. She has an interest in all aspects of general practice care and the promotion of comprehensive holistic care for all ages. She is available Monday – Thursday. Qualifications: Bmed University of Newcastle, FRACGP
Dr Kalpana Loganath
Dr Kalpana is passionate about providing holistic medicine to her patients of all ages. Having worked in both regional and urban areas across Sydney and interstate, she has special interests in women’s and children’s health, shared antenatal care, chronic disease management and palliative medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys music and dance and time with her young family.
Dr Kalpana is at Bennelong Mondays and Wednesdays.
Dr Sacha Ruberu
Dr. Sacha Ruberu is a medical practitioner with special interests in women’s health, children’s and adolescent health, mental health, weight management and chronic disease care. She is a dedicated physician who has devoted her career to improving the health and well-being of her patients.
Dr Ruberu is an Australian graduate from the University of Canberra and University of Tasmania. She has worked in tertiary hospitals in the United Kingdom, Melbourne and Sydney. She spent 12 months working in obstetrics and gynaecology at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown. She has trained and worked as a GP in Sydney since 2006.
Dr Ruberu is currently increasing her knowledge in natural family planning / fertility and cannabis prescribing . She is also keen to consult with adolescents and currently takes part in the Northern Sydney GP in schools program with local highschools.
In her spare time, Dr Ruberu enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, including pickleball, yoga and dancing and singing in her church choir and a local community choir.
Dr Amanda Yao
Dr Amanda Yao graduated from UNSW and did her hospital training at Royal North Shore and Ryde Hospitals. Dr Amanda loves that general practice allows her to meet and care for people from all walks of life, and has a special interest in children and women’s health and sexual/reproductive health. Outside of work Dr Amanda enjoys travelling, keeping active, and trying out new recipes.
Dr Stephen Chau
Dr Chau is a graduate of the University of NSW and the University of QLD. He has previously worked at Nepean and Lithgow Hospitals, and also spent 12 months working in obstetrics & gynaecology at the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle. He has also obtained the Diploma in Child Health from the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network/ University of Sydney, as well as a Professional Diploma of Dermoscopy.
Dr Chau enjoys the variety and diversity of general practice, with special interests in men’s health, paediatrics, obstetrics, preventive health and chronic disease management. He appreciates the special role that GPs have, with a particular passion for empowering patients to both understand and take control of their health journey.
In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, cycling, snorkelling, travelling, gaming, and going to the movies.

Sana Issa
Sana brings over 30 years of clinical pharmacy experience to the Bennelong Medical Clinic. She works alongside the doctors and practice nurse to ensure optimisation of medication management. As clinical governance manager, Sana is responsible for activities that help to sustain and improve high standards of patient care. This involves clinical audits, education, training and continuing professional development, evidence-based care and optimisation of patient experience and outcomes.
Clodagh O’Doherty
Clodagh is our General Manager and is responsible for all the business and operations functions of the business. She is your main point of contact for any questions relating to billing or membership of the practice.
